Business knowledge that helps day to day
Peak Atlas is building its own books program for business owners. It centers on questions that come up again and again in running a company: Which task actually moves the business forward? How can decisions be made in a way others can follow? How do clear design and reliable sales processes come about?
The program is meant to cover these topics in standalone books. Each title gets a clearly defined purpose and should be usable independently of the other volumes. At the same time, the books share a common standard: clear explanations, vivid examples and a design that aids understanding.
Four focus areas to start
The development program includes the planned series on money and wealth, the illustrated practical guide “Der Weg des Geldes” (The Path of Money), a handbook of 100 thinking principles, the design atlas “From Grid to Chaos” and the sales book “Sales ohne Zufall.”
The titles serve different purposes. The practical guide explains how to prioritize activities that bring in money. The framework handbook is meant to make thinking tools for difficult decisions accessible. The design atlas makes design directions comparable. The sales book starts from recurring problems faced by experienced salespeople and managers.
Illustrations as part of the explanation
Visual design is an essential part of the concept. Visual metaphors are meant to reveal relationships that remain abstract in text alone: bottlenecks, different levers or the consequences of doing things in the wrong order.
Short chapters, concise examples and conclusions that are easy to follow are intended to make it easier to apply the ideas to one’s own business. An image serves its purpose when it helps readers understand or remember.
Development with clearly delineated topics
The titles address different tasks: a practical guide accompanies concrete everyday decisions, while an atlas makes it easier to find one’s way around a subject area. These differences also shape the editorial work.
The titles mentioned are in development. Information on publication dates, formats and sales channels will follow with the respective release announcements.
